We received some Pogies in the post this morning from a company down in the midlands. Significantly cheaper (£30) than some others you may have seen and probably not rated down to -40 either but we don't need that here in Manchester, do we? Initial impressions are good. They're weather resistant and have some insulation in there too. We've tried them on one of our 'standard' Ridgeback hybrids and our shop Surly Pugsley with it's Jones Loop bars - they fit either just fine. Velcro tapes and drawstrings keep the draughts out and they'll probably let us ride in thinner gloves, they really do keep out the wind. We'll try them out for an extended test over the next few weeks and get back to report. If you have trouble keeping your hands from freezing up this time of year maybe we can help?
