Hit the North 2012

We got down to see our friends at Hit the North on Saturday and whizzed round in some truly great conditions. Seasonal temps kept the ground just the right side of frozen and those that had opted for cross bikes came out on top - though I expect they were feeling a little more beat up than those on fatter rubber come the end of the race. From smiles on faces it looked like everyone had a good time riding and racing though the steep exit out of the car park at the end proved a little interesting as it had snowed for the last lap of the race. We were very happy with two podiums out of three entries, we covered all the bases - cyclocross, mountain and fatbike. Hoping the fat bike class will be better attended next time!

(remember- fat bikes ride where others carry)

It continued snowing for the rest of the day here in Manchester and we left the shop looking forward to fun on the fat bikes on Sunday. Heading home in the dark Sunday evening - pic

Thanks for the team pic go to Jay.
